Welcome to St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi-Academy Trust
We are a newly formed family of 63 Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Birmingham, part of a wider community of MACs united in one mission:
Forming Christ-centred messengers of hope with kind hearts, questioning minds, a thirst for knowledge and a hunger for justice.
Rooted in the witness of St Gabriel the Archangel, God’s messenger of Good News, we share his call to bring hope, courage and clarity to the children, families and communities entrusted to our care. His words – “Do not be afraid” – guide us as we look to the future with faith, boldness and high expectations.
This is a time of listening and co-creating – shaping our Trust together with those we serve, drawing on the strength of our size, the richness of our diversity and the gifts of every person.
We invite you to journey with us in faith, hope and love, as we build a flourishing Catholic family for today and tomorrow.

📢 Shared on behalf of St John’s Catholic Primary School, Great Haywood, Stafford
‘We joined with the members of our parish and Father Julian for Mass to celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany. Following this, an Epiphany blessing card and a piece of chalk were sent home so that the children could share the special message with their families. It has been so lovely to see the children living out our mission of 'Learning to know God and share His love'.
It’s always lovely to see what’s been going on in our schools and their wider community ❤️

At St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi Academy Trust (CMAT), we have celebrated the cherished tradition of the Jesse Tree during Advent.
Each day of Advent, students and staff have reflected on a key figure or story from Scripture - represented by symbolic ornaments such as Noah’s ark, Abraham’s stars, or David’s harp - tracing the lineage of Jesus back to Jesse, the father of King David. By gradually decorating the Jesse Tree, this highlights God’s faithfulness across generations. This practice unites the community in prayer, creativity, and joyful anticipation of the birth of Jesus.
Here are a few highlights of the Jesse Tree celebrations within the Wolverhampton and Black Country region. ... See MoreSee Less
